HISTORY
History
Founded in 1974, Christian Service University has always been committed to providing outstanding academic, spiritual, and moral training. Initially established as an interdenominational evangelical Christian institution, CSU has significantly developed over the years, offering more than twenty programs at Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s, and Master’s levels.
In 2005, the institution transformed into a University, further cementing its role in providing spiritual, moral, academic, and professional training for entrepreneurship, public service, Christian ministry, and effective participation in the labor market. Despite these achievements, the university continues to face funding challenges, which led to the creation of the CSU Foundation.
Foundation Overview
As a private non-profit organization, CSU faces competition from numerous private and government-assisted universities. To address financial challenges and ensure sustainable growth, the CSU Foundation aims to mobilize US$4 million within five years to support infrastructural development and other long-term needs of the university.
